How I Came to Write "Ask a Silly Question"I was sitting in my own backyard, enjoying the wonderful Japanese-style fish pond and landscaping that I recently had installed and the silliest of thoughts came into my mind. When you are very small you have the leisure to wonder. And no one has yet made you feel there was some reason not to wonder. In my relaxation and leisure, my mind became to function wistfully, tenderly, in a childlike way. When you read "Ask a Silly Question," I hope it will remind you to take a little time out to ask those silly questions. Life's real answers only come to those who ask the silly questions.
